Employees

Iwaki America and its employees can be counted on to stand up and lend a helping hand in the communities where we work and live.

Iwaki America is active as a leader in the pump industry community through its membership in the Hydraulic Institute (“HI”). Iwaki America’s president is a past chairman and president of HI while our general manager is HI’s current president.

Consistent with our leadership in technology, Iwaki America is passionate about education and training. We have worked with the University of Massachusetts, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Wentworth Institute of Technology together with the Massachusetts Department of Workforce Training to develop numerous training programs and internship opportunities. We embrace a full range of education, training and continuous improvement initiatives that go well beyond traditional technical training.

 The case for total training

Iwaki America actively encourages and liberally supports employee community involvement

Our employees are active on the boards and committees of local schools, banks and community groups as well as religious and minority organizations. Iwaki America has been involved with Habit for Humanity and Toys for Tots for many years.

Iwaki America is a great place to work! There are few layers in our organization and executive and managers doors are open to everyone. Our corporate culture is informal and we strive to find the “right fit” for all employees. These attributes combined with Iwaki America’s competitive compensation and benefits enable us to attract and retain the best people in every part of the company.
